SLOW COOKER- artists will exhibit their work at Direct Art Action in Walsall, Saddlers Shopping Centre

SLOW COOKER is a supported by Arts Council England artist residency programme, aimed at developing artistic collaborations and networks, forming relationships to build a strong connected arts community.

Selected artists: Ian Andrews, Frederick Hubble, Emily Scarrott + Hannah Taylor, Amy McLelland and Thomas Kilby were based at Stryx over May and June 2017 producing new work and involving themselves with local communities through a busy workshop programme.
SLOW COOKER residency culminated in an exhibition in July 2017 and is now entering its touring stages.

For Course 2 we will travel to Direct Art Action in Walsall, where artists will exhibit their SLOW COOKER work in two empty shops in the Saddlers Shopping Centre.
