Ivan Nesvetailo was born in 1959 in Belgorod, Russia.

In 1975-1979 he studied at the Art College (Design Department) in Orel, where he studied realism. After serving in the Army he continued his art education at  the Saint Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Design (Department of Monumental Art).

The greatest influence on the formation of the artist’s creative method was Russian avant-garde and German neo-expressionism.
In 1993-94 the artist has worked in the décor workshop of the Mariinsky Theatre,  Saint Petersburg.  
In 1998 Nesvetailo was invited to lead a course at the St. Petersburg State Academy of
Service and Economics (Department of Fashion Design).
In 2002-2008 was made the series of historical interiors of the Stroganov Palace (The State Russian museum).
In 2003-2019 a number of design projects was elaborated and enabled in private and public interiors (space creations, wall paintings, paintings, decorations).
Ivan Nesvetailo is participant of more than 150 exhibitions and art projects in Russia and abroad, including 20 solo exhibitions.

His artworks are in the collections of nine State museums of Russia, Ukraine and Italy and in the private collections of Russia, UAE, Italy, USA, Canada, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Chile, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Portugal.
